  1. Boil the Water:
Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a pot.

Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add the tea bags.
Allow the tea bags to steep in the hot water for about 5-7 minutes or according to the package instructions.
  3. Sweeten with Honey:
While the tea is still warm, stir in honey until it dissolves. Adjust the amount of honey to your desired level of sweetness.
  4. Cool the Tea:
Allow the tea to cool to room temperature. You can speed up this process by placing the pot in the refrigerator or transferring the tea to a heatproof container and placing it in the fridge.
  5. Chill in the Refrigerator:
Once the tea has cooled, refrigerate it for at least 1-2 hours until it's thoroughly chilled.
  6. Serve Over Ice:
    Fill glasses with ice cubes.
  7. Pour and Garnish:
Pour the chilled honey lemon tea over the ice in each glass.
Garnish with slices of fresh lemon and mint leaves if desired.
