When will my order ship?

All orders containing in-stock items typically ship from our warehouse in 1-3 business days.

How do I change or cancel my order?

Once an order has been placed, we are unable to make any changes.

To ensure all orders are promptly shipped and delivered as quickly as possible, the order shipment queue cannot be interrupted.

Please feel free to contact the courier if you wish to make any changes to your delivery address.

What is the best way to store my olive oil?

Keep olive oil in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Ideally, store it in a pantry or cupboard. Excessive heat can lead to rancidity. Maintain a consistent temperature where you store the olive oil. Fluctuations in temperature can also affect its quality. Avoid storing it near the stove or any other heat source.

Should I refrigerate my olive oil?

Refrigerating olive oil is a topic of debate among experts, and opinions vary. Generally, olive oil tends to thicken and may become cloudy when refrigerated due to the natural waxes and fatty acids in the oil solidifying at lower temperatures. However, this doesn't necessarily harm the oil, and it will return to its normal consistency when brought back to room temperature. Refrigeration can slow down the oxidation process and extend the shelf life of olive oil. Oxidation is one of the main factors that can cause the oil to go rancid, leading to a deterioration in flavor and nutritional quality. By keeping olive oil in the refrigerator, you reduce the exposure to light, heat, and air, which can contribute to a longer shelf life.

Our customers get fast, free shipping on all orders over $75 in the US, excluding Hawaii and Alaska. Other orders qualify for our discounted flat rate of $10.00 for standard shipping for any order shipping domestically within the US, excluding Hawaii and Alaska. 

Do you have physical store locations?

Currently we don`t have any locations in the US. We`re working on opening one soon!

What are the shipping rates?

All shipments are sent from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Orders ship between Monday-Friday only, excluding holidays.

Rewards Points

How do I earn points?

For every $1 dollar you spend with The Olive Hive, you will earn 5 rewards point! The use of gift cards and point redemptions do not count toward your rewards earnings. Rewards points are not given when purchasing with a gift card as monies owed on taxes are also ineligible for rewards point redemption.

How do I use my points?

Congrats on being a rewards member! You must be logged in to access your points at checkout! To apply points, simply complete the following steps -

Are my points available to use during a sale?

Yes, you can use your rewards points on top of a sale discount.

If I process a return can I receive my points back?

Yes, rewards points are treated the same as your own money. The points used on an order will be refunded back into your account first, and the balance of the refund will be returned to your original payment method. And can be used the same way at the time of checkout on your next order.

Can I use a promotional code on an order with sale/discounted items?

Promotional codes cannot be combined with any other Promotions or Sales. Promotional codes are not applicable to gift cards. Promotional codes cannot be stacked.
