Honey Glazed Salmon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and grated ginger. This mixture will be your honey glaze.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly greased with cooking spray. Season the salmon with salt and black pepper.
  4. Brush the honey glaze generously over each salmon fillet, ensuring they are well-coated.
  5. Place the salmon in the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes. The exact cooking time will depend on the thickness of your salmon fillets. You can tell the salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork and has an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  6. If you'd like, you can broil the salmon for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end to caramelize the glaze and give it a nice, crispy finish. Keep a close eye on it to prevent burning.
  7. Once the salmon is done, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
  8. Garnish with lemon wedges and fresh parsley, if desired, and serve your honey glazed salmon hot.

This honey glazed salmon is a delightful combination of sweet and savory flavors and makes for a fantastic main course. You can serve it with steamed vegetables, rice, or a salad to create a complete meal. Enjoy!
